Job Title: Health and Wellbeing Specialist

This role is a key part of our team, responsible for developing and implementing effective return-to-work strategies, ensuring team members feel supported, valued, and confident as they re-enter the workplace.

You'll work closely with individuals recovering from injury or illness, liaising with internal leaders, medical providers, and insurers to create tailored transitions.

  • Coordinate and manage return-to-work programs for injured or unwell team members.
  • Act as a key point of contact for employees, offering support and guidance throughout the return-to-work process.
  • Liaise with treating health professionals, rehabilitation providers, and insurance representatives to ensure effective recovery plans.
  • Monitor progress and adjust return-to-work plans as needed, always keeping the wellbeing of the employee at the forefront.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with relevant health and safety legislation.
  • Contribute to a positive safety culture through proactive initiatives and clear communication.
Qualifications:
  • Exposure to a similar environment with a background in Health and Safety is preferred.
  • Previous experience within the transportation industry is highly regarded.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills coupled with attention to detail.
  • Working towards Certificate IV Health and Safety or other qualification is desirable.
