A dynamic Health and Wellbeing professional is sought to fill a 12-month fixed-term role for maternity leave cover.
This position is based at our Fortitude Valley office, with an immediate-start fixed-term arrangement including an attractive salary package and benefits.
Responsibilities- Provide expert support to employees navigating injury and return-to-work pathways, demonstrating compassion and professionalism.
- Drive continuous improvement of health and wellbeing culture and organisational practices through strategic collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
- Work closely with senior managers and business stakeholders to facilitate achievement of workers' compensation and post-injury management strategies.
- Manage service provider contracts and delivery/support for outsourced health and injury management services, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
- Manage workers' compensation reporting and governance processes, including analysis of incident and injury data to inform decision-making.
- Develop and implement cost-effective systems for health assessments and pre-work risk and capability assessments.
- 5+ years' experience in health and safety or health and wellbeing, with relevant degree (OHS, allied health, nursing).
- Accreditation in rehab and return-to-work, along with knowledge of OHS legislation, WorkCover, and Workers' Compensation.
- Interpersonal skills: ability to listen, negotiate, and influence with empathy and clarity, fostering strong partnerships.
- Collaborative and team-oriented mindset, with the ability to design, deliver, and assess health and wellbeing initiatives.
