Molecular Screening Program Technician
We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team in Notting Hill. This role involves performing laboratory-related activities for high-throughput Molecular testing.
About the Role:- Perform laboratory tasks, including sample pooling, testing, labeling, aliquoting, receipting, processing of inbound/outbound shipments, and result generation.
- Operate automation equipment, such as cobas 5800/6800, cobas p512, Hamilton Star liquid handler.
- Manage consumables, stocktake, and ordering.
- Certificate or diploma in laboratory technology or relevant laboratory experience.
- Experience in automated laboratory environments, Molecular Biology laboratories, and operation of specific equipment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, organized, thorough, and considered.
- Primary place of work: Notting Hill site.
- Occasional attendance at NRL's primary site in Fitzroy may be required.
