High Throughput Molecular Testing Specialist

The Laboratory Technician will be responsible for performing high-throughput molecular testing in a laboratory setting.
Responsibilities- Perform laboratory-related activities including automation operation, documentation preparation, consumable stocktake and ordering, sample pooling, testing, labelling, aliquoting, receipting, processing of inbound/outbound shipments, and result generation.
- Minimum of a certificate or diploma in laboratory technology or relevant laboratory experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
- Organised, thorough, and considered
- Ability to troubleshoot unfamiliar scenarios or unexpected results
- Experience in an automated laboratory environment
- Experience in a Molecular Biology laboratory
- Experience in operation of cobas 5800/6800, cobas p512, Hamilton Star liquid handler
- Experience in receiving and processing of laboratory specimens
- Experience working in a team environment
- Experience in maintenance of laboratory equipment
- Experience in using laboratory information management systems or relevant computer skills
