Lead Molecular Biotechnologist

The role involves assisting clients in validating molecular assays for various applications including oncology, virology, sexual health and infectious diseases. This will involve observing client testing, researching information, analyzing data and assessing the accuracy of patient results.
This will include assisting clients with assay development, troubleshooting and optimization. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality services to clinicians, laboratories, hospitals and other clients for real-time PCR systems/products.
The candidate will also be required to manage client systems and assays from installation to go-live, following a program for verification, validation and implementation. Additionally, the candidate will educate and train clients on molecular products, including standard sample collection.
Investigating issues and errors with clients regarding molecular systems and assay portfolio is also a key aspect of the role.
A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as biochemistry, biotechnology or molecular biology is essential for this role. The ideal candidate will have experience working with molecular diagnostics equipment and software.
