Court Security Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Court Security Officer. As a valued member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of the courts and tribunals, as well as the people who attend them.
Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional customer service to all individuals entering the court, while also conducting x-ray screening, using metal detectors, and searching individuals for prohibited items.
You will also be responsible for roving security patrols within and external to the building, conflict resolution and negotiation, acting as a first responder to any incidents that may occur, and managing access and control rooms.
We are looking for someone with a Certificate II or III in Security Operations, a current Victorian security licence, and current first aid accreditation.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
