The Role:

We are seeking a part-time Care Service Employee to cover maternity leave until further notice. You will work afternoon shifts on Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday.

  • Assisting residents with personal care, including showering and grooming.
  • Supporting residents with meals, ensuring their nutritional needs are met.
  • Contributing to care planning with registered staff to create tailored care plans.
  • Documenting care and services provided to residents accurately and timely.
  • Engaging residents in meaningful activities, promoting socialization and mental stimulation.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Personal Care: Assist residents with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Meal Support: Ensure residents receive nutritious meals and snacks throughout the day.
  • Care Planning: Collaborate with registered staff to develop individualized care plans that meet resident needs.
  • Documentation: Accurately record care services provided to residents, including any notable events or concerns.
  • Activity Engagement: Plan and implement activities that promote socialization, mental stimulation, and overall well-being.
