We are seeking an experienced Operations Audit and Compliance Team Lead to join our team at McMillan Shakespeare Limited. As a key member of our Operations team, you will be responsible for owning and facilitating all internal and external audit functions required for Operations across Maxxia and RemServ.
Key Responsibilities:- Grow the audit management functionality within operational areas and work with GRS operations teams to ensure compliance and readiness for all internal and external audits.
- Maintain a view of key outcomes from audits that require change to GRS operations and work with operational leaders to determine steps required to implement changes across people, process, or technology.
- Work with contract managers of major contracts to ensure employer assurance programs are supported and manage any changes required for GRS operations, identifying areas of the business impacted and urgency of the change.
- Build and maintain stakeholder relationships across multiple areas of MMS, including Tax and Compliance, Client Strategy and Engagement, and Business Systems.
- Engage with external stakeholders to ensure business needs are met in all interactions, challenging when required to support the best possible outcome for the client and business.
- Manage a team towards achieving team-based and individual KPIs, conducting one-on-one and team meetings to assist in the development of a high-performing team.
- Manage workflow and real-time queues via task allocation, monitoring productivity and quality as required.
- Foster productive working relationships with key stakeholders.
- Interpret numerical data and complex information to complete required tasks.
- High level of written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, achieve deadlines, and manage time effectively.
