Project Engineers play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of complex construction projects. This is an opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the development of a landmark multistorey residential new build project on the Gold Coast.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with the project management team to develop and implement project plans, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation. They will also manage and coordinate all engineering activities, including design, construction, and quality assurance, ensuring compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations.

A key aspect of this role is conducting regular site walks to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure adherence to project specifications. The Project Engineer will work closely with other Engineers to ensure successful project completion and liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain effective communication and resolve project-related challenges.

Requirements:
  • Degree in Engineering or a related field
  • Proven experience in project engineering within the construction industry, preferably with exposure to large-scale industrial projects
  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, engineering principles, and relevant regulations
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
  • Proficiency in project management software and other relevant tools
