About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team in Melbourne's Southeast and Eastern Suburbs. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to work with a range of clients, utilizing their mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to breakdown calls in a timely and effective manner, utilizing machinery maintenance and preventative measures.
  • Carry out plant and equipment repair, modification, and construction as required, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Diagnose and fault-find malfunctioning mechanical systems, equipment, and components, providing efficient solutions.
  • Maintain strong communication with production staff, supervisors, and management teams, promoting a safe and productive work environment.
Requirements
  • A Trades qualification (Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade) or equivalent.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills, with experience in machinery maintenance and repair.
  • A Restricted Electrical Workers Licence (D Licence) is highly advantageous.
  • Excellent problem-solving and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize responsibilities and take initiative.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, promoting a positive and supportive work culture.
