Production Blender Technician

We are seeking a skilled Production Blender to join our dynamic team in Dandenong South. As a key member of our production crew, you will be responsible for operating blending equipment, following recipes and procedures accurately, and ensuring consistency and quality in our chemical products.

• Operate blending equipment to produce high-quality chemical products according to specifications.
• Follow blending recipes and procedures accurately to ensure consistency and quality.
• Complete daily job orders from start to finish, managing around 6-7 jobs per day.
• Monitor blending processes, making adjustments as necessary to maintain efficiency and safety.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, including handling dangerous goods.
• Perform routine maintenance on blending equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the blending area.
• Ensure quality control measures are met.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

• Prior experience in chemical or food blending and batching, preferably with knowledge of Polyurethane.
• A current forklift license is essential.
• Experience working in a production environment.
• The ability to learn quickly and undergo training.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
• Knowledge of LEAN principles would be highly regarded.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, as well as basic math skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability are a must.

Estimated annual salary: $65,000 - $85,000 AUD based on industry standards and location.
