Production Blender Technician

We are seeking a skilled Production Blender to join our dynamic team in Dandenong South. As a key member of our production crew, you will be responsible for operating blending equipment, following recipes and procedures accurately, and ensuring consistency and quality in our chemical products.
Duties and Responsibilities- Operate blending equipment to produce high-quality chemical products according to specifications.
- Follow blending recipes and procedures accurately to ensure consistency and quality.
- Complete daily job orders from start to finish, managing around 6-7 jobs per day.
- Monitor blending processes, making adjustments as necessary to maintain efficiency and safety.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, including handling dangerous goods.
- Perform routine maintenance on blending equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the blending area.
- Ensure quality control measures are met.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Prior experience in chemical or food blending and batching, preferably with knowledge of Polyurethane.
- A current forklift license is essential.
- Experience working in a production environment.
- The ability to learn quickly and undergo training.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
- Knowledge of LEAN principles would be highly regarded.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, as well as basic math skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability are a must.
