Equipment Servicing Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Equipment Servicing Specialist to join our team. As an Equipment Servicing Specialist, you will be responsible for performing mobile and in-house servicing for various equipment.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular servicing tasks on equipment including SCBA, Airline & Escape Equipment, Compressed Air Cylinders, PAPR Equipment, and Passive RPE.
  • Travel interstate and within Queensland to service and repair equipment.
  • Quote and process customer service and repair orders using SAP CRM.
  • Repair and maintain various equipment, ensuring all necessary safety protocols are followed.
  • Manage repairs for QLD Rural Fire Mask contract.
  • Inspect and pre-deliver finished goods such as SCBA, Thermal Imaging, Compressed Air Cylinders, and Airline Equipment.
  • Monitor and maintain spare part stock levels at the Morningside facility.
  • Engage in customer-facing activities at the Morningside facility and manage non-accredited service customer details.
  • Ensure all equipment requiring calibration is calibrated on time and maintain records of 3M Service Equipment.

Qualification Requirements:
  • Higher School Certificate or equivalent.
  • Trade Qualification.
  • No Specific Tertiary Qualifications required (Trade diploma preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of servicing SCBA equipment.
  • High degree of computer literacy including SAP CRM, Microsoft Word, Excel analysis & PowerPoint required.
  • Communication and Presentation: Strong verbal communication, listening, and excellent presentation skills.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Confident manner with both internal teams and external customers, and ability to work well within a team environment and across functional teams.
  • Technical Proficiency: High level of functional and technical skills, and ability to understand and translate technical literature.
  • Problem Solving and Innovation: Strong problem-solving ability and resourceful innovation to meet customer requirements.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail, organizational, and planning abilities.
