About the Role

This is a key position that will provide expert support and guidance to our nursing team. The role involves working with experienced clinicians, developing clinical practice standards, and ensuring quality healthcare services for patients.

As a Clinical Nurse Consultant, you will be responsible for providing evidence-based care, promoting a culture of excellence, and collaborating with health providers to deliver effective management in Child and Family Health Nursing.

The successful candidate will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to identify and meet the needs of patients, carers, and families, ensuring a person-centred approach to care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to nursing staff on best practice in Child and Family Health Nursing
  • Develop and implement clinical practice guidelines to ensure quality care
  • Collaborate with health providers to deliver effective management of complex patient cases
  • Contribute to the development of education programs to enhance staff knowledge and skills
  • Mentor and support junior staff members to achieve their full potential
Requirements
  • Australian Registered Nurse qualification and current AHPRA registration
  • At least 5 years of experience in Child and Family Health Nursing
  • Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated expertise in critical thinking, communication, and leadership
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
