
Leading Contract Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Manager to join our organization. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall management of contracts throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:- Creation of contract terms to pass through head contract obligations to subcontractors
- Provide handover to project team of contract documents
- Assist with the review and negotiation of subcontractor and supplier agreements in line with company risk positions
- Provide rights and obligations summary to project team
- Set up process and templates for site teams' compliance with contract notices
- Review contractual correspondence
- Ensure systems in place for the management of subcontractors
- Management of key project documentation/contracts
- Provide assistance to project teams for dispute management (including recognition of heads of claim, claims assessment and strength of position in line with contractual entitlements)
- Assist in the development of strategies for successful resolution of disputes
- Analyse and report on the success of disputes to inform decisions by senior management
- Ensure compliance with commercial frameworks and delegation matrices
About You:
- At least 7 years+ experience in a similar role within the construction industry
- Degree qualified in Business Law, Construction Management or similar
- Demonstrated experience in contract management across multiple live projects at any given time - A must
- Demonstrated experience in dispute resolution - Highly regarded
- Ability to travel to site as required
- Brings a positive, solution-focused attitude and effective communication skills
- Achieves cohesive and an effective team spirit
