About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Room Attendant to join our Housekeeping team at the Novotel Surfers Paradise. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and customer service in our guest rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure guest rooms are cleaned to the highest standards, including changing bed linen, making beds, and restocking amenities.
  • Attend to guest enquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Carry out allocated cleaning duties to achieve brand standards throughout the hotel.
  • Transfer dirty linen and remove rubbish and recycling.
  • Safe handling and use of chemicals.
Requirements
  • Previous cleaning experience, preferably in a hotel environment.
  • A positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
  • A keen eye for detail and good time management skills.
  • Ability to work a rotating 7-day roster, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Understanding of correct chemical usage and manual handling techniques.
