Are you a dedicated and skilled professional with experience in injury management and return-to-work roles? We are seeking a highly motivated Case Manager to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic organization that values excellence, customer focus, integrity, and teamwork. As a Case Manager, you will be responsible for managing the injury management of our workers, supporting their recovery and return to work, and administering our injury management programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively initiate, coordinate, and monitor workplace rehabilitation programs for non-complex cases.
- Facilitate early medical intervention for injured or ill workers, supported by our Early Intervention Program.
- Engage with Rehabilitation Specialists (or appointed providers) for all complex cases.
- Coordinate employer responses to requests for information about workers, their injuries or illnesses, and their rehabilitation.
- Facilitate and support managers and supervisors to implement our Non-Work-Related Injury/Illness Program for employees with personal health injuries or illnesses.
- Monitor company performance of injury management. Compile reports and analyze injury trends on Workers Compensation and Early Intervention Program performance outcomes.
- Accountable for timely and accurate processing of payment of workers compensation and insurer reimbursements.
- Develop and continuously improve Injury Management systems and administration processes for all states/WorkCover jurisdictions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- WorkCover Accredited Return To Work Coordinator Training.
- Current Driver's License and vehicle.
- Minimum 3 years' relevant case management experience in an injury management and/or return to work role.
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment and contribute effectively to team objectives.
- Confident communicator, who excels in developing relationships with all stakeholders.
- Sound analytical skills, to understand workers compensation business trends.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Broad knowledge of workers compensation and return-to-work principles.
- Hold a Construction Safety Induction (White Card).
