Injury Prevention Services Specialist

This position involves implementing injury prevention strategies to minimize musculoskeletal injuries among local government agency staff in Western Australia. The successful candidate will also have opportunities to travel across the state, collaborate with local governments, and contribute to the development of health and wellbeing service plans.
Main Responsibilities:- Develop a participatory approach to controlling manual task injuries within the WA local government sector
- Innovate early intervention and prevention services to reduce musculoskeletal injuries and claim trends
- Provide manual task and ergonomic services (office and machinery) across WA
- Collaborate with internal teams to support proactive injury prevention strategies for high-risk work areas
- Bachelor degree in Exercise Physiology, Occupational Therapy, Ergonomics, WHS or Physiotherapy
- Enthusiasm and willingness to learn and develop skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook
