About the Role
The Senior Engineer – Rotating is a key position within Jemena's Asset Class, responsible for delivering engineering and technical services to support the safety, reliability, and integrity of our assets. This role will focus on developing and implementing high-quality strategies and plans to achieve Jemena's commercial and operational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement asset class strategies and plans to ensure sustained cost-effective operations, maintenance, and renewal/disposal of physical infrastructure and equipment.
- Analyse and clearly define asset performance issues, risks, and opportunities to inform business decisions.
- Support customer and markets/business development by providing high-quality and cost-effective design and engineering solutions.
- Monitor the overall performance of assets and produce asset performance and integrity review reports.
- Provide high-quality and timely direction, guidance, and advice on engineering issues related to equipment operation, capacity, and capability.
About You
- Bachelor's degree and/or higher in Engineering specialising in Mechanical.
- Eligible for Certified Professional Engineer or Register Professional Engineer.
- Solid technical experience in safety-critical industry.
- Experience in Australian energy utilities/services provider and contractor market.
- Track record of delivering engineering and technical functions, including policy, standards development, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
