Support Worker Role

This is a unique opportunity to work with young people who require support and care in their daily lives.

About the Position:

The successful applicant will be responsible for providing emotional and functional support to our young clients. This may include assisting with daily tasks, managing household duties and developing personal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing strong relationships with young people and their families
  • Creating and implementing personalized plans to meet individual needs
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting progress to relevant stakeholders
  • Participating in ongoing training and professional development

Selection Criteria:

  1. A Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention or equivalent tertiary qualifications
  2. An understanding of child safety and well-being principles
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
