Calvary Aged Care invites compassionate individuals to join our dedicated team as Personal Care Workers.
This is an opportunity to be part of a caring community committed to providing exceptional care to our residents.Your main duties will include:Support residents to live the life they choose allowing them to exercise choice and independenceAssist the resident in one-on-one activities that support their well-being inclusive of hobbies and interests that are aligned to the care planContributes to the physical, emotional and lifestyle needs and wants of the residents, through assessment and observationWorks within an established and agreed framework to deliver a range of personal care tasks, including but not limited to daily hygiene for example showering, shaving, dressing, mouth and eye care and continence managementAssist residents who require assistance with mobility as per care planAbout YouCertificate Level III (Individual Support)Effective interpersonal communication; both written and verbalDemonstrated ability to prioritise workloadsWorking knowledge of WH&S and Infection ControlDemonstrated experience in a similar role in aged care, health care or hospitalityYour benefits:NFP salary packaging benefits, discounted health insurance and gym membershipsPaid parental leaveTraining, development pathways and career opportunitiesFlexible hours that make sense for youWhy work for Calvary?
