Casual Event Coordinator">

This is an opportunity to work in a casual position within the events industry.

The key focus of this role will be on scheduling crew accurately to achieve labor efficiency and successful event outcomes. Your primary objective will be to plan, coordinate, and deliver high-quality events by managing rosters, ensuring payroll costs are minimized, and that skills mixes are accurate and appropriate for each job.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Roster casual and full-time crew to meet show delivery needs
  • Manage rostering and payroll systems (Timetarget/HumanForce) for casual and base staff to capture all data accurately and authorize it properly
  • Plan the rostering of full-time and casual crew to minimize payroll costs and ensure accurate skills mixes on each job
  • Liaise with venues to arrange utilization of all crew as required
  • Respond to general phone inquiries to confirm staff shifts and troubleshoot where necessary
