Risk Assessment Professional Opportunity:
About the Role:We are seeking a skilled Risk Assessment Professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering detailed human health and ecological risk assessments for contaminated sites, leading the development of Conceptual Site Models (CSMs) and exposure assessments, interpreting toxicological, site, and exposure data to inform health/ecological risks, reviewing or preparing site-specific risk-based criteria, advising clients on site management strategies, and mentoring emerging risk assessors within the team.
Main Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality risk assessments for contaminated sites
- Develop and implement effective risk mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients to achieve project objectives
- Mentor and develop emerging risk assessors within the team
- Degree in Environmental Science, Toxicology, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience in risk assessment roles (consulting or regulatory)
- Strong technical knowledge of relevant frameworks and regulations
- Experience working on complex industrial or contaminated land sites
