Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain test automation frameworks using Java and Python, incorporating gherkin and bamboo.
  • Plan and create quality test approaches, test design, and test cases for systems under this team's management.
  • Implement and execute test cases according to documented test design and time frames.
  • Document results and report defects, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Developers, Support Analysts, and Business Stakeholders to ensure understanding of requirements and communicate test status and issues.
  • Document test results for sign-off, enabling releases to be promoted to production.
  • Work with external vendors who provide automation solutions for different products, managing weekly updates and reviews.
  • Learn and utilize internal and external automation tools.
  • Review work done by external automation vendors and provide feedback.
  • Contribute actively as a member of the Quality Engineering & Testing Community of Practice (CoP).
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 4-5 years of experience in test automation.
  • Experience in test automation principles and strategies.
  • Design, build, and maintain test automation frameworks using JAVA.
  • Design, build, and maintain test automation frameworks using Python.
  • In-depth testing experience in a structured environment.
  • Experience in system, system integration, regression, end-to-end, and parallel testing.
  • Experience in testing futures/derivatives products or clearing systems.
  • Experience in test environment and test data setup.
  • Worked as part of medium to large-sized project teams.
  • Experience with test management tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
  • Able to multitask and adapt to frequently changing priorities.
