**Government Housing Officer Opportunity**

We are seeking a Government Housing Officer for a temporary role with an established organisation working within the housing department.

The role involves providing advice and assistance on housing options, assessing client eligibility and needs, and managing client information to ensure confidentiality, accuracy and integrity.

You will work in collaboration with internal specialists and external service providers to make referrals where additional support is required to better meet client needs. Additionally, you will monitor property condition and facilitate maintenance and minor modifications where necessary.

This position requires excellent communication skills, decision making and problem solving abilities, as well as the ability to handle sensitive issues and confidential information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing advice and assistance on housing options
