Job Title: Operational Process Development Specialist

About the Job:

This role is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining operational process documents to ensure compliance with legislative, financial and administrative frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process Document Development: Develop, review and continuously improve ROD's operational process documents to ensure compliance with legislative, financial and administrative frameworks.
  • Policies and Resources: Contribute to the development and review of Commission-wide policies and resources, providing high-quality input that incorporates operational insights, legislative understanding and stakeholder perspectives.
  • Registry Management: Maintain various ROD registers (e.g. legal advice register, policy document register), ensuring accuracy, accessibility and compliance with recordkeeping and governance standards.
  • Legislative Interpretation: Develop subject matter expertise and interpret relevant legislation, providing analysis, insights and guidance on their implications for ROD operations, and contribute to the development of processes that support compliance and mitigate risk.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to foster collaboration, promote teamwork, advance ROD initiatives and support cross-functional coordination.
  • Innovation: Identify opportunities for innovative ways of working, evaluating and implementing improvements that enhance operational efficiency, clarity and quality of work.
What We Offer:

The salary offered will be between $96,503 - $108,869 per annum depending on skills and experience. In addition, 15.4% superannuation will be paid.

Roles are offered on an Ongoing/Non-Ongoing basis, with Non-Ongoing roles offered for an initial period of up to 12 months, with the possibility of one extension up to an additional 12 months.
