Key Responsibilities:
  • Defect Management & Triage:
    • Lead end-to-end defect management, identifying, prioritizing, resolving, and closing defects in a timely manner.

    • Monitor defect trends, conduct root cause analysis, and inform continuous improvement efforts.
  • Cross-Squad Coordination:
    • Serve as the central point of contact for all defect-related communication across Agile squads and system integrators.
    • Evaluate critical or blocking defects and escalate them to program leadership, contributing to Go/No-Go readiness assessments.
  • Tooling & Reporting:
    • Utilize tools like JIRA and Xray to manage defect workflows, ensuring real-time visibility and generating actionable dashboards for stakeholders.
    • Produce weekly defect status reports, including metrics on defect aging, reopen rates, and fix turnaround KPIs.

    • Mentor junior QA analysts in effective defect documentation, reproduction techniques, and root cause analysis.

    Requirements:
    • 5+ years in defect/test management roles within large Agile programs.
    • Deep experience with Salesforce platforms and advanced expertise in Jira and Xray.
    • Strong understanding of defect metrics (severity, priority, fix rate, reopen rate) and their implications on delivery risk.
    • Proven leadership in defect governance, facilitating high-pressure problem-solving forums and issue resolution.
    • Sector experience in Government and Disability/Health-related domains, with an understanding of policy, compliance, and user-centered service delivery.
