Job Summary

The role of Parts Manager is a pivotal position within the organization, responsible for overseeing the efficient and profitable operation of branch operations.

This encompasses managing branch parts sales, warehousing, dispatching, and purchasing from local and overseas suppliers.

Key responsibilities include recording transactions, tracking stock levels, and maintaining sales displays and parts areas within the branch.

The successful candidate will also be required to follow payment processing procedures, manage internal working relationships, and track backorder shortages.

In addition, they will be expected to support branch management in providing retail parts marketing analytics to identify opportunities.

Responsibilities:
  • Record all transactions of sales and track stock levels and requirements
  • Maintain sales display and parts areas within the branch
  • Follow payment processing procedures and new return merchandise as required at a point of sale
  • Maintain internal working relationships including management of a small team
  • Track and follow up on backorder shortage including reports to management as required
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, candidates will require previous experience in retail parts and internal sales. Strong commercial acumen, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to provide interpret and analyze market data are essential.

A high level of computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Suite, Google Suite, and MYOB Exo, is also necessary.

Technical product knowledge and capital equipment or mechanical equipment experience are desirable but not essential.
