Job Overview:

Trinity College is seeking a highly motivated and experienced educator to fill the role of Head of Pastoral Care in our Junior School. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational experience of our students.

Salary:

The successful candidate will be offered an attractive remuneration package, commensurate with their experience and qualifications, including a Teaching Step 10 salary of $122,126.

Job Description:

The Head of Pastoral Care will lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive pastoral care program, focusing on the wellbeing and growth of students from Reception to Year 2. You will work collaboratively with the Head of Pastoral Care JS (Year 3-6) leader to ensure seamless transition and support for students throughout their Junior School journey.

Key Responsibilities:

Leading the teaching staff in the development and delivery of a coherent pastoral care programSUPPORTING student wellbeingImplementing the principles of Visible Wellbeing

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

Suitable tertiary qualifications, preferably in a field related to pastoral care or a similar areaRegistration to teach in South Australia or eligibility to obtain registrationA deep understanding of and commitment to Christian educationExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsThe ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people, both verbally and in writingA commitment to equal opportunity and work safety
