As a Patient Care Director, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring high-quality health outcomes for our residents. This position requires collaboration with the Centre Manager to maintain clinical governance and oversee the multidisciplinary care team.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the clinical care of our residents, prioritizing their well-being and dignity.
- Delegate tasks effectively, considering the skills and knowledge required for each task.
- Utilize critical thinking within an evidence-based framework to deliver optimal care, adhering to regulatory standards.
- Foster a person-centered culture, respecting and valuing the unique needs and preferences of each individual.
- Provide clinical leadership and support the professional development of nursing and care staff, promoting excellence in practice.
- Ensure regulatory compliance in collaboration with the Centre Manager, maintaining accreditation standards.
- Assume acting Centre Manager responsibilities as needed, demonstrating adaptability and strong organizational skills.
- Participate in on-call rotations, providing 24/7 support for our residents.

- Prior experience in senior clinical management within aged care, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong people management skills, with expertise in workplace relations legislation and conflict resolution.

- Knowledge of AN-ACC and experience in optimizing funding for resident care, maximizing resources.
