Job Overview

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Support Representative to join our Finance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing financial support and assistance to our operations in assigned countries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily accounting, finance, and administration functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, tax, and financial reporting.
  • Assist with month-end accounting, including preparing journal entries and producing ad hoc reports.
  • Coordinate and oversee the processing of internal and external customer requests and inquiries.
  • Comply with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements, local compliance, and support internal audit and external audit requests.
  • Perform financial administration tasks and ad hoc duties as required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • 2+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a multinational company.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end accounts payable processes.
  • Knowledge and application of IFRS accounting standards and principles.
  • Knowledge of Australian and New Zealand GST and Fringe Benefit Tax compliance.
  • Proficient in large ERP accounting systems, preferably Oracle.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to form and maintain productive relationships at all levels of the business.
  • Excellent accuracy and high attention to detail at all times.
  • Pro-active, self-motivated, and able to use initiatives.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Australia for any employer without sponsorship.
  • Must be fluent in English (written and spoken).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Accounting experience in Australia.
  • Progressing through CA/CPA or equivalent postgraduate studies.
  • Experience of preparing bank reconciliations and accounts reconciliations.
  • Experience assisting with month-end accounting close processes.
