Credit Controller Role
A proactive and experienced Credit Controller is required to join our team in Crewe. The ideal candidate will have a good telephone manner, experience in high-volume inbound and outbound calls, and excellent attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities- Cash Collection: Actively chase overdue B2B & B2C debts to ensure timely payments, in line with payment terms and credit limits.
- Inbound Calls: Manage customer and internal depot calls effectively.
- Order Release: Review stopped orders regularly for release and work alongside Sales Teams to clear any overdue balances or queries and manage credit limits within SLA.
- Query Management: Identify queries and liaise with Sales Teams to resolve customer queries and maintain good customer service levels.
- Ledger Management: Regular debt ledger review, account reconciliations, and unallocated cash management.
- Fuel Cards: Oversee high-spend fuel card accounts, ensuring credit exposure is within acceptable limits.
- Policies & Procedures: Adhere to best-in-class credit control practices.
- Strong commercial awareness in a competitive industry.
- Excellent telephone manner with experience in high-volume inbound and outbound calls.
- Effective communication skills with both B2B and B2C customers.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; SAP experience is desirable.
