Role Summary

This 12-month fixed-term contract presents an exceptional opportunity to excel as a Financial Operations Assistant in a reputable Perth-based organisation. As a key member of the finance team, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring seamless financial operations.

About the Role

You will be responsible for:

  • Supporting daily accounting tasks, including bank reconciliations and month-end activities.
  • Identifying and resolving accounting discrepancies.
  • Reconciling supplier and customer accounts.
Requirements

To succeed in this position, you should possess:

  • Prior experience in a similar role with a strong understanding of accounts payable and receivable functions.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications, such as a degree in Accounting or equivalent.
  • Proficient working knowledge of MS Excel.
  • A high level of proficiency in QAD or similar ERP systems is highly desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail and strong time management skills.
