Salary

The successful candidate can expect an attractive remuneration package, commensurate with experience, ranging from $70,000 to over $110,000 per annum, plus superannuation.

Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional financial expert to join our client's finance team as a permanent full-time role based in Balcatta. This integral role will assist the Directors/Management team, working closely with an outsourced Accountant.

  • Financial planning and analysis
  • Update daily cashflow and budget estimates
  • Auditing of daily credit and debits
  • Assist in preparing short and long-term operating budgets, cash forecasts
  • Measure business performance against budgets and forecasts, providing explanations for variances
  • Ensure commission agreements and payments are accurate and paid by invoice date.
  • Oversee cash management and working capital
  • Ensuring accurate workpapers to support Management Financials
  • Could include invoice entry and dealing with suppliers if any discrepancies on purchase orders.
  • Assist the Operations Manager & Administration team on their invoice payables and invoice receivables when necessary.
  • Assist Scheduling/Costing Department with purchase orders and discrepancies.

This role will report into the Directors, you will also be responsible for;

  • Liaising with Directors in relation to financial queries
  • Preparation, analysis and distribution of monthly financial reports
  • Ensure transaction workpapers and EOM deadlines are met to the highest standard
  • Be able to assist the companies contracted accountant with anything needed for preparation of Year End financial, lodgement of BAS and other statutory/taxation obligations
  • Measure business performance against budgets, plans, and forecasts, providing explanations for variances
  • Help Directors develop and manage accounting policies and procedures, streamlining accounting functions and operations.
  • Help manage the budgeting and forecasting process.
