We are seeking two enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Learning Support Assistants.

About This Opportunity

We have two short-term opportunities available:

Inclusive Education Assistant

  • Days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday (52 hours/fortnight)
  • Secondary School: Year 7 to Year 12
  • Short-Term Contract Period

Food Technology Assistant

  • Monday and Wednesday (30 hours/fortnight)
  • Short-Term Contract Period

Requirements

  • Active Christian faith and a commitment to the College Ethos and Values
  • A current Working with Children card and Police Clearance
  • You must have the right to live and work in Australia
  • Relevant qualifications in the area of their application
  • The capacity to work harmoniously in a team

Key Responsibilities

  1. Support students with special learning requirements
  2. Assist students who require extra time to complete assessments/tests/exams and, if required, a reader and/or scribe in tests
  3. Collaborate with Teachers to identify student issues and recommend solutions
  4. Work with students one-on-one or in small groups to enhance their learning and understanding of the curriculum
  5. Have experience in writing and implementing Individual Educational Programmes
