Swing City PTY LTD, a leading Golf & Entertainment destination in Australia, is seeking an experienced Culinary Team Member to join its vibrant kitchen team.



Job Description:


The ideal candidate will support the Head Chef with daily operational duties, ensuring the freshness of food products and maintaining quality cooking techniques. Key responsibilities include:



  • Collaborating with the Sous and Head Chef to optimize kitchen operations
  • Maintaining high standards of food presentation, taste, and timeliness
  • Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer experience and profitability
  • Minimizing food waste through efficient cooking techniques and order management
  • Ensuring stock rotation and inventory control in the kitchen
  • Providing guidance and training to junior kitchen staff
  • Assisting with menu planning and ordering as needed
  • Contributing to a positive and efficient work environment
  • Maintaining compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Adhering to all company policies and procedures


Salary and Benefits:


This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $75,000 (plus superannuation) depending on experience. In addition to a generous compensation package, benefits include:

Requirements:


To be successful in this role, applicants should have:



  • Prior experience in a similar culinary role
  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent experience
  • A strong team player attitude and commitment to excellence
  • A high standard of personal presentation and hygiene practices
  • Enthusiasm for learning and professional development
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
