Renal Care Specialist

As a skilled clinical professional, you will be responsible for delivering expert care to patients undergoing dialysis at home. Your primary objective will be to ensure safe, effective and personalized treatment plans are developed and maintained.
- You will educate patients, families and healthcare staff on Peritoneal Dialysis and haemodialysis procedures.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care as needed to support optimal outcomes.
- Act as a key point of contact for patients, providing guidance and support throughout their therapy.
- Nursing registration with AHPRA is required.
- A post-registration qualification in Renal Nursing or working towards same is highly desirable.
- At least 24 months of experience in Renal Nursing and/or experience with Peritoneal Dialysis is essential.
- Prior experience in patient and staff education is also necessary.
- Proficiency in clinical nursing assessment skills is a must.
