Casual Security Officer Job Opportunity

An exciting opportunity is available for highly motivated Casual Security Officers to provide security services in a diverse and inclusive environment.

**Key Responsibilities Include:**

  • Controlling the movement of all persons entering the site and the movement of all vehicles and goods entering/exiting the site.
  • Providing a security service in line with the site SOP's and site requirements to protect employees, property, and other assets.
  • Greeting visitors and employees, issuing cards to authorized new starters.
  • Monitoring all contractors entering the site to ensure insurances and inductions are current.
  • Controlling the movement of all persons entering the site and the movement of all vehicles and goods entering/exiting the site.
  • Monitoring the CCTV system & computer programs.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A current Private Security Individual Licence Victoria.
  • A current Victoria Driver Licence.
  • A current First Aid certificate.
  • Excellent communication skills, punctuality, and reliability.
  • The ability to work as part of a team.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Experience using C4 access control & Rapid Global software would be beneficial.
  • Previous military or policing experience would be beneficial.
  • 2 to 5 years' experience in the security industry would be beneficial.

**Benefits:

  • The initial roster will be two shifts: Mon - 10:00 pm to 6:00 am and Tue - 10:00 pm to 6:00 am, with additional ad-hoc shifts as required.
  • Applicants will be required to work weekends & public holidays.
  • Applicants will be required to work day shifts, afternoon shifts, and night shifts.
  • This role has the potential to become a full-time position.
