
Caregiver Engagement Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Caregiver Engagement Specialist to join our Foster Care team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and young people in need.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with foster carers, community groups, and other stakeholders. They will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to increase awareness of foster care opportunities and attract new carers capable of providing therapeutic placements.
This role will be situated in our Foster Carer Recruitment, Assessment & Training team and is pivotal in expanding our foster carer resources to enable greater capacity to respond to regional demand for placement of children in therapeutic foster care.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement marketing initiatives to promote foster care opportunities
- BUILD STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH FOSTER CARERS AND COMMUNITY GROUPS
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify and address barriers to foster care recruitment
- Conduct outreach and engagement activities to increase awareness of foster care opportunities
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A diploma qualification in social work, psychology, marketing, communications, or business administration (with a marketing focus) or relevant field
- Experience in supporting and working with volunteer foster carers
- High-level interpersonal, relationship, and communication skills with expertise in developing partnerships
- Highly motivated with enthusiasm, drive, creativity, and initiative
