Our ideal candidate will be a skilled Maintenance Planner with experience in a dynamic underground mining environment. They will play a key role in maintaining and optimising mobile mining equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to join our team as a Maintenance Planner. As a Maintenance Planner, you will develop and maintain maintenance schedules for underground mobile equipment, including loaders, trucks, and ancillary equipment.

  • Develop and maintain maintenance schedules for underground mobile equipment to meet operational requirements.
  • Coordinate planned maintenance activities with mechanical trades, supervisors, and operations teams.
  • Update the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) with accurate job plans and work orders.
  • Source and procure required parts and materials to support maintenance activities.
  • Monitor equipment performance and maintenance trends to drive improvements in reliability and availability.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement preventative maintenance strategies.
About You:
  • Prior experience in a maintenance planning role within an underground or heavy industry environment.
  • Strong understanding of underground mobile mining equipment maintenance practices.
  • Proficiency in using CMMS systems and related software.
  • Trade qualification in mechanical, heavy diesel, or related field (desired but not essential).
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
