Breakfast Chef Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our small kitchen team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving exceptional breakfast dishes.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, friendly environment where quality and customer satisfaction come first. You will have the chance to showcase your creativity and flair in the kitchen, while working collaboratively with our service teams to deliver high-quality food and service to our guests.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a passion for cooking and a commitment to delivering exceptional results. You will also need to be a strong communicator and team player, with excellent planning and organisational skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, cook and serve food for the breakfast buffet showing variety and flair
  • Ensure strict stock rotation and minimum wastage following stock control procedures
  • Keep all working areas clean and tidy. The chef is required to wash all dishes during service
  • Assist with in-house functions, restaurant and cafe food as required
  • Ensure all equipment is maintained, serviced and cleaned. Report any problems to the Food & Beverage Operations Manager.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in buffet breakfast service preferred
  • Deliver consistent, high-quality food while maintaining set food cost
  • Work in conjunction with service teams to ensure quality product and service to guests
  • Have great communication skills & a positive attitude
  • Have excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Have willingness to learn and go above and beyond for our guests
