Job Responsibilities

We seek a skilled Morning Food Preparation Specialist to join our small kitchen team. As our full-time specialist, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a diverse range of morning dishes.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing, cooking, and presenting food for the breakfast buffet, showcasing variety and flair.
  • Ensuring strict stock rotation and minimum wastage following stock control procedures.
  • Keeping all working areas clean and tidy, washing all dishes during service.
  • Assisting with in-house functions, restaurant, and cafe food as required.
  • Ensuring all equipment is maintained, serviced, and cleaned, reporting any problems to the Operations Manager.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in buffet breakfast service preferred.
  • To deliver consistent, high-quality food while maintaining set food cost.
  • To work in conjunction with service teams to ensure quality product and service to guests.
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills.
  • A willingness to learn and go above and beyond for our guests.
