We are seeking an experienced and creative Cook to join our team.

As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals and snacks for children in our care. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dedicated team and make a real difference in the lives of young people.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in menu planning, budgeting, stock ordering and control;
  • Knowledge of dietary and allergy safe requirements;
  • A clean and safe kitchen environment, in accordance with relevant Food Safety regulations;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.

You must hold:

  • A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or an ACECQA approved Early Childhood qualification and experience in a cook role;
  • A current Working with Children's Check and First Aid;
  • Completed or willing to complete Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.
