Big Data Specialist

As a Big Data Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data systems to support machine learning and AI model training. Your primary goal will be to extract valuable insights from complex data sets using various programming languages and tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement scalable big data architectures using cloud platforms such as AWS S3, EMR, Redshift, Glue, and Athena.
  • Develop efficient data processing pipelines and ETL processes to integrate and transform raw data into clean, structured features for AI/ML models.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to architect and maintain secure, reliable, and scalable data warehouses and data lakes.
  • Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for data pipelines and assets to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in big data warehousing, data lakes, ETL processes, and data modelling.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and SQL with a solid understanding of data processing and manipulation.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience working with cloud platforms and services.
  • Extensive knowledge of designing and implementing scalable big data processing pipelines.
