Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Wellness Officer. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

As a Wellness Officer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality wellness services that cater to the diverse needs and backgrounds of our clients. You will work collaboratively with clients and their families to promote social connection, build community, and support residents in recreational and social activities.

Our ideal candidate possesses a Certificate II in Aged Care or Individual Support, or is working towards it. They should have a good understanding of the health, social, or aged care services industries, with previous experience in aged or community care. The successful applicant will be adaptable, empathetic, and resourceful, with a strong ability to live our values of being compassionate, respectful, imaginative, and bold.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide quality, timely, and effective wellness services
  • Communicate effectively with clients with diverse needs and backgrounds
  • Promote the rights and privacy of our clients, in accordance with relevant policy and legislation
  • Support residents in community-based recreational and social activities
