Team Lead Job Description

The Team Lead plays a pivotal role in the success of our fast-paced restaurants. As a key member of the management team, you will assist the General Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations, training and supporting staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and manage staff to ensure high-quality food service and a clean, safe environment.
  • Assign tasks and oversee employee performance to meet operational standards and provide excellent customer service.
  • Monitor and enforce adherence to company policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Perform opening and closing duties, including inventory management and administrative tasks.
  • Optimize staffing levels, inventory, and food cost control to drive performance.
  • Assist with administrative duties, such as maintaining files, records, and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work varied hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • General knowledge and understanding of the restaurant industry or retail operations required.
  • Minimum six months of restaurant management experience (QSR) or one year entry-level retail management experience required.
  • Effective communication skills, basic math, reading, and computer skills.
  • Ability to follow directions, work independently, and multi-task successfully.
