
Senior Communications Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Communications Coordinator to lead the delivery of effective communications and marketing strategies that advance our mission and strengthen our brand and reputation.
This role will play a key part in developing and implementing campaigns and content that build public awareness, engage communities, and create fundraising opportunities.
The successful candidate will have oversight of some partnership activities and assist with advocacy and program objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Campaign Development: Develop and implement integrated communications and marketing strategies that align with our mission, organisational priorities, and strategic goals.
- Fundraising Frameworks: Provide strategic input into fundraising frameworks, with a focus on diversifying income streams and enhancing long-term donor engagement and retention.
- Event Management: Lead and co-ordinate events such as annual conferences and other major events.
- Coordination Support: Assist with coordination of additional events, working with 3rd party providers or volunteers.
- Brand Integrity: Ensure brand integrity and consistent external messaging across all platforms, reinforcing our identity, voice, and values.
- Innovative Campaigns: Design and oversee the delivery of innovative, data-informed fundraising campaigns, ensuring strong storytelling, audience targeting, and measurable impact.
- Campaign Performance: Monitor and manage campaign performance and budgets.
- Digital Strategies: Manage digital and social media strategies, ensuring dynamic, engaging content that drives awareness, reach, and action.
- Awareness and Implementation: Awareness and implementation of AI and its use in communications as well as digital strategies.
- Work effectively within a small team to promote a culture of collaboration.
- Report to the General Manager, providing high-level advice on communications, brand positioning, and fundraising initiatives.
- Support and mentor junior staff members, actively developing capability development and team performance.
- Work collaboratively across a dynamic and cross-functional team, promoting a culture of innovation, transparency, and shared purpose.
- Prepare high-quality strategic documents, briefings, and presentations for senior stakeholders, providing clear insights and alignment with organisational priorities.
