Lead Animation Producer Job Overview

The Lead Animation Producer will oversee the production of animated content from concept to delivery, driving creative development and ensuring timely project completion.

  • Mange animation projects end-to-end, including creative development, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet high-quality standards.

  • Assign projects to animators based on skill set, workload, and project complexity, leveraging expertise in 2D, 3D, and Hybrid animation workflows.

  • Develop and maintain efficient animation workflows to ensure timely delivery, resolving production challenges quickly and flagging potential risks early.

Creative & Production Oversight:

  • Lead and oversee creative concept development, script writing, storyboarding, and animation art direction, driving innovation through brainstorming and creative development sessions.

  • Work alongside Client Success Managers to develop and pitch animation projects, ensuring alignment with client goals and brand guidelines.

  • Foster a collaborative environment, working closely with internal teams to troubleshoot challenges and enhance the animation department's offering.

  • Evaluate and improve quality control across all animation projects, ensuring feedback is actioned correctly and adhering to high creative standards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in animation production, motion design, or a related field, with strong project management skills and experience juggling multiple animation projects at once.

  • A deep understanding of animation workflows, with excellent problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.

  • Confident working directly with clients and producers, managing expectations and delivering exceptional results.

  • Budget management and resource allocation expertise, with a passion for animation, storytelling, and creative problem-solving.

This role requires a high degree of organizational and time management skills, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving abilities to drive success in animation production.
