Job Role:

The Project Oversight Specialist will lead all construction activities for renewable projects, encompassing Battery Storage, Wind Farms, and Solar Farms.

Key responsibilities include ensuring the appropriate resources are allocated to guarantee quality, environmental, and safety protocols are integrated, developing and implementing a comprehensive Construction Management Plan, and maintaining project timelines by executing the construction schedule and monitoring progress.

The ideal candidate will possess relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering, preferably 10 years' experience in construction/engineering projects with exposure to renewable projects, demonstrated leadership capabilities, and ability to collaborate effectively with others.

Experience managing budgets and cost forecasting in construction is essential. The Project Oversight Specialist will provide ongoing guidance, support, and counsel to staff and encourage feedback from them.

The role involves setting clear targets and KPIs, managing interfaces between subcontractors to achieve safe completion of the works in line with schedule and budget, and supporting the Project Director and Project Management to coordinate power outage dates and schedules with stakeholders.

Requirements:
  • Relevant Tertiary qualifications in Engineering
  • Preferably 10 years' experience in construction/engineering projects with exposure to renewable projects
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and ability to work collaboratively with others
