Project Management Opportunities

We are seeking an experienced professional to deliver projects across capital water infrastructure, including valves, hydrants, water pump stations, network renewals, and more.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the delivery phase of the program's renewal projects, collaborating with design, scheduling, cost, commissioning, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth transitions and project success.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing, coordinating, and delivering complex ranges of projects varying in size and scope.
  • Fostering a culture of innovation, proactively developing team members, providing mentoring, leading by example, and demonstrating a strong commitment to best practices.
  • Supporting budget management processes, collaborating with senior project managers to optimize costs, implement improvements, ensuring accurate records, reports, and forecasting.
  • Supporting procurement processes, including implementation of procurement management plans, subcontractor engagement processes, and supplier processes.
  • Building strong relationships across design teams, clients, and internal stakeholders to support optimal delivery across projects and greater partnership.
Requirements
  • A degree in engineering or a related field, combined with significant experience managing civil projects on capital infrastructure.
  • Project management certification and willingness to maintain relevant qualifications.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in dynamic contracting environments.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Developed analytical, planning, prioritization, financial planning, and budgeting skills.
