Customer Retention Specialist

The Customer Retention Specialist plays a pivotal role in driving sales growth and maintaining accurate customer records. This position is instrumental in achieving sales targets, ensuring seamless communication, and identifying opportunities for expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Retain existing customers and achieve LP Gas sales targets by focusing on volume, margin, and product group objectives.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and input data into the system to ensure efficient operations.
  • Submit monthly sales reports, tracking performance, market trends, and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions.
  • Identify load build opportunities within the geographic area and pass leads to relevant personnel for follow-up, ensuring timely action and effective execution.
  • Re-sign customer accounts as they fall due, prepare business approval models for all re-signs, and follow company procedures to maintain compliance.
  • Develop and maintain the customer information base via appropriate screens and develop trade alliances to ensure well-serviced customers.

Requirements:

  • Two to three years of field sales experience, with a strong understanding of sales strategies and tactics.
  • A clean and valid driver's license is required for regular travel between customer sites.
  • Strong customer focus and results-oriented mindset, with excellent negotiation and conflict management skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
